Dead game?

Weeeeell, since you can see this game on both - steamcharts and here - it's clearly not dead.
As for population...Welp. sadly, this game has become just your regular online solo rpg. Both, due to a lack of players and devs adding solo modes to everything they can.

Playable but season 2 is basically just old recycled content.
The developer more or less gave up on this project long ago.

You might enjoy some parts of it here and there, but don't expect anything great anymore.
You'll see the same bosses over and over again with the same or very similar patterns, basically just a few oneshot mechanics and flashy lights that burn your eyes away.

+ new content is solo only, just raids are still group and none of them is well designed anymore. And the new raid is restricted to a few days only, so if you have no time on these specific days you won't be able to see it.

Not sure what they thought there but the guy who made this decision should get fired.
LG is a terrible company, the franchise SW is way too good for them, they clearly don't deserve it.

Look at the game, if you like the look of it, give it a test, if you enjoy it, play it more, if you listen to basically everyone's reviews about an MMO, then basically anything KR/JP would be dead, might aswell throw EN in there for good measure, even FFXIV gets hate and I've seen a few saying it's dead.

Do I need to do some party raids to progress or I can just completely solo everything?
Party play is okay for me. I just don't wanna try just to get stuck later with story on some raid, because unable to find anyone to help

Except raids its fully solo now, overall its not even a MMO anymore.
Its basically a solo RPG with a bland story and cash shop.
At least people don't flex in this game like they do in many other games.

But overall the project is over, LG will never listen to players and their content becomes worse and worse with every update.

SW was the best hub based mmo in the past (even better than PSO), now its simply one of the worst. But check it yourself, either you like it for a while or you won't.

as new player it might look more exciting for a while at least, but be aware that they treat it like a mobile game, you must grind a lot and the bosses have nothing really exciting.

Some players just keep playing for community reasons since you might get a connection to some people you play this or other games with. But overall the game itself is beyond bad today

There were only 4 classes and game was developed by gameforge I think
so I know a little bit of it

The game still has charm to it, give it another shot, if you enjoy it and want to put money into it go for it, if not, just play it F2P, in the end it's another game, if you enjoy it, play, if you don't then take a break.

There's a lot of negative reviews when people ask about if the game is dead or not, but since they don't run their own company (or it's a massive scam company), the only way you'll find out about the game is to experience it again yourself.

55-60 was by far the best time of the game, ngl

Farming Ark Ship to collect Blue gear sets, refine to +4. Dying in enoch stage, she disappear only rolling wheels cutting through the area, impossible to dodge because animation does not match the timing of actual hit. Once you get hit, staggered and got brrrrrrrrrrrt until caput.

Only whales got Aurith gear.. So cool, yellow.. normies got one shot in GC..
