Returning players event needing SoulPlus to complete?

I haven't been on the game for awhile return and after 7 days I noticed that the returning players event needs me to power up SoulPlus 10 times to complete the whole thing.

Also somehow I powered it up 3 times without even having SoulPlus which I am even more confused about.
Like how did I even do that and what did I do to power it up those 3 times?

Not just that why is that even a thing in the returning players event tab?
Are they making so little money that they are so desperate get money to point they are trying to get returning players to buy SoulPlus?

No SoulPlus is literally useless unless you want to upgrade 3 BS sets at once perhaps.
Otherwise you don't need it at all

The returning event actually requires you to chose skill extension (which is also called "SoulPlus") X times

I didn't know that but I am also not surprised either with how much bad translations that are in this game either.
Thanks for clearing that up I thought I had to buy SoulPlus to finish it.

When you open skills window you, certain skills have 1 or 2 options available after they're maxed. Those are skill extensions.
