Сlothes can be obtained in different ways.
in sw, you can custom eye color and style, skin color, hair style and color, choose different outfits and dye them; chars exist lore-wise, so you can't freely change them, that's a thing in some games including this one
OR I can play God Eater, Code Vein, Kurtz Pel, or other Anime games that let you create a character. You must be a mobile gamer since you think character creation is only on The Sims lol. Diablo Immortal must be an attack on your senses lol.
Now that you mentioned this, even for a pre-made character game the customization is limited compared to say Vindictus. No eyebrows, breast size, height, body fat per area.
Not saying this game sucks because of it or should have it, just pointing it out. I do kinda wish it had a boob slider though real talk. I'd like Lily to look more like how she looks in some of the costume artwork and Stella to look older since I don't like lolis.
I guess you do capture the original characters better this way but seems more of something you want for a singleplayer game since having a bunch of the same character in town is not the greatest.
You must be new here, some of the devs behind this were behind:
- grand chase -> elsword -> closers
... and later kurtzpel lol
When this game was released the option to alter your character was a new concept considering the development line of the devs, and kurtzpel obviously benefitted.
(As an aside, for those unaware, the customisation they'd [want] you to do is purchasing/grinding of costumes, since that's been a focus of the games mentioned before)
no offense, but what does this have to do with ANYTHING? if anything this makes the devs look worse if we're still on my topic of being disappointed this doesn't have character creation, considering they had character creation in another game and in this one they opted to just let you edit established characters. confused at what your point is with this.
No offense taken, but its just weird you didn't understand a pretty simple clarification. you compared this game to other games with customisation (one of which being later chronologically, development wise, since it was partially same team) when for this team it was an early iteration of it.
in simple terms if you really need it:
- first run character edit (this game) was basic as it was first run
- the games you mentioned don't make any sense as they aren't even the same genre, have pre established edit ability for the games they are parroted off (MH -> god eater, souls series -> code vein), and soulworker is an old game for this genre + the roots of the devs didn't have it
Essentially its like new players show up to a game years later and wonder why certain features aren't available, and it was explained
(As an add on, I hope you understand how weird it is to say they look worse for it being in kurtzpel which I explained came later, it would be like (using your example) complaining about the character creation in god eater 2 being more basic than 3, one game came first and tried something new, another game came later and developed on it, simple as)
To be fair, I wasn't making comparisons, only just dealing with a troll who wanted to minimize my complaints to suggesting I should play The Sims and my counter was that there are other anime games with character creation in them so it's not unrealistic to want another anime game to have character creation in it (which I'm not demanding or expecting hence why I started this thread). As for Kurtzpel I wasn't aware of the release time between the two games I was just thrown off by your initial reply because my whole thing was just a response to a dude being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
These are the best game with character creation you came with? Game with extremely limited customisation...
If you wanted to be taken seriously you should have used Eve Online and Black Desert online as exemple...
Also, why the hell would it be a problem for a game to not have character customisation? You consider all game without this bad? When your standar for this are the most basic character customisation...
This game was released 7 year after Aion, in 2016. Character customisation was already extremely common and many game were made with a customisation even more well done.
Show me where I said a game is bad without customization. Go ahead... I'll wait.
While you're at it maybe develop some reading comprehension and understand the examples I brought up were specifically ANIME games with character creation which was the point. Maybe don't insert yourself into a discussion if you have no idea what you're doing dude. I don't think that's an unreasonable request.
