Zombies climbing walls.
I just saw zombies, of several types, climbing on the military base enclosure and going over it. So zombies can climb? In this case can they also climb the protective walls built by the player because they are the same height?

In addition, I saw a huge zombie the size of a protective wall, its head was sticking out so I killed it, but I am worried about the size, can they at some point be so big that they climb over the protective wall?

Currently I have level 3 iron walls, they are practical because you can see through them, they also seem solid. Are they sufficient or will they need to be improved? I am on day 8 and I do not currently have a drill.

zombies don't climb, or at least not supposed to. 9,000 hours and i never saw a zombie climb a wall. XD

there are some jumping zombies and some crawling zombies but the jumpers usually won't jump unless you're near. you shouldn't have to worry about wall climbers in this game.

but yeah there are giants. the only get that size though and they also can't walk over walls. but they do eventually start coming in numbers so you need a way to deal with them. the MRL works great.

the walls at level 3 are fine, that's iron. you can only upgrade it 1 more time to aluminum but i never found that necessary unless maybe on legend.

zombies generally won't attack your walls or structure unless they have no path to get to you. if you lock yourself into a room behind a closed door, they will beat up any part of your structure that they come in contact with. as long as you leave a path to you they will always run your through your traps to get to you

Multi-Rocket Launcher. it's a turret that you may not have unlocked yet.

No I'm only at the beginning of the game, but maybe I should pay attention to this, in your opinion from how many days it becomes necessary, I'm on day 8.

well they send 1 giant on night 6, by about night 14 or so they send 2, then by night 20 or 22 or something they send 3 giants per night. and so on. every few days they send 1 more. eventually you have to hold off 10 of them. then 20 of them. they aren't easy to kill with just bullets and they're too big for some of your traps so killing them can be a challenge in later game.

EDIT:
you have time, it's a very long time that you have to face 20 of them on normal difficulty. on legend it won't take as long.

Push the bosses as fast as you can to open up your tech. The basic giants can be taken out by clever use of guillotines, and by the rocket launcher. The ones that start coming next--the flame or poison ones, I think--take a few shots from the rail gun. :P I learned a lot about batteries segmenting and buffering the electricity system when that happened.

The zombies have gone over the enclosure again, it's weird, but maybe it's intentional I don't know, the ground is slightly higher at that point. But the enclosure is still much higher than the zombies so it's strange.

It's at the north corner when you exit through the door of the aircraft hangar of the military base, it's on the right the enclosure makes a small angle and the zombies go over it if you extend the enclosure with a door (open so they can die in the traps) and walls to reach the other enclosure on the other side of the plane in front of the hangar door.

yea they can make it over some spots, you gotta be careful where you claim for your base. i remember having some problems with my base there too

I have seen normal zeds get up on the shoulders of other zeds before if they bunch up too much.
Also just so you know after so long and even if you don't get to say the desert or the grassland area after that you will start to see those enemies show up including those areas specific giants.

i've seen zombies kind of teleport a little. after the final updates. like, when i build a line of foundations and put a building up there, then zeds come in from behind, and run along a wall first then along that foundation, they will sometimes clip through where the wall met the foundation.

like, for every 80 zeds that ran past, 1 would clip through

it surprised me cause i kept getting zeds inside my secure base area during wave. so yes, the zeds can clip sometimes through walls, those tall ones you can build, not the regular ones you make buildings with.

Was it a foundation with a cross or a foundation that can be passed underneath? Because I have similar structures in my base and I don't want the zombies to come in lol

There is a foundation with just 4 poles under it that normal zeds can run under and then another they can't get under.
