game crashes on launch

bought a brand new computer so it is a fresh install and the game crashes on launch while other games with anti cheats like 7d2d work fine.

keep in mind the devs took it all the way and even so far as to suggest reinstalling your OS. you don't need to take it that far especially if you're on a new system to begin with.

First check if it IS Anticheat that makes problems, by simply deactivating it and check if game works . When u know its Anticheat than u find plenty work around in the internet for this issues , or u simply play without anticheat.

some people are able to get the game running by launching the game directly rather than through the steam launcher. to do this, navigate to the LF.EXE file and execute the game from there to see if that gets it up and running long enough to check graphics settings and whatnot.

the path should be something like this, it's wherever you've installed the game to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Night of the Dead\LF.EXE

You can also check your event logs to see if there's an error entry pointing to a problem. It should list the game in the entry.

Use the Windows + R keys and type: eventvwr
Then, go into Windows Logs > Application
