EDIT: many of the quests are unlocked by completing the previous quest, which is often the case how the quests get unlocked, please consider finding a way to add it to the table; perhaps [ComplPrevQuest] -> [CPQ] tag in front of the actual action description or a separate column or samsung.
I even tried buying eagle feathers in the desert and the kiosk didn't have them in there.
I also still haven't found a damned mutant lion this playthrough and I've been almost all over the desert.
Once I found it up on the hill where the road splits off to go to the shipyard.
I killed it and my damned follower picked up the head and I didn't get the journal entry for picking up the head .
I was not a happy camper when that happened and that was the only I seen that time.
Its like the mutant rabbits one playthrough before I killed 5 or 6 of them and then it's a struggle to find one.
I wish they would have made a super difficult cave with the lion at the end for these instead of random encounters.
I am playing with "No Zombie and no Natural/Loot respawn" as I wish to empty the map. If the running trigger is false for this gameplay mode, then I'll never get the Philosophy research tree done, as I've only seen like 6 Student Zombies up to Cleon. (but you need a lot more.)
I've been killing oodles and gobs of lions so hopefully it might help.
I finally found the bastard NW of the survivor's shelter where the road loops back to the school.
Unfortunately it was a pretty p*ss poor quality with only 1 coil slot and 1 included coil built in.
the only thing i feel sure about right now is that devs are not going to help us complete this list. we truly are on our own for this.
if anyone has any other updates i'll continue to update them to the main list but since i'm not playing NOTD now i'll not be trying to hunt these down myself anymore.
I was able to trigger the mine in the desert quest simply by mining a stone rock in the desert which is why im thinking there is a bug.
Going to see what doing the same in the western grassland kicks up.
Mining some ores gave me the quest to place refineries miners and excavators in the W.grassland. survival quest 21.1
