The difficulty has really ramped up in the first 5days, I can't even imagine how insane it gets. Lol
Yeah good point. I could always tune things down if I'm overwhelmed. But I'll try not to:)
I'm loving this game, especially the combat. Awesome indeed!
just a FYI : you can change game difficulty or tweak the settings on your savegames at any time. so if you start the game and things get too rough at day 10, you can dial the difficulty down a bit before going on towards day 11. you can do this as often as you want/like.

What does "no waves" setting do, removes the nightly waves entirely? Does it void the tower defense aspect of needing to defend your base? I personally enjoy the more adventure aspects.. exploration and looting.
