Kiosk Coins

I keep reading we should be able to buy and sell gold bars. However, my coins in the kiosks keep resetting every 5 hours, is this supposed to happen or am i glitching out?

Gold bars can be bought and sold only at banks, the 1st one is in the 3rd city (East of green land) There is one in the desert, one in the western city and the last one is in the north fields.
What do you mean by "my coins in the kiosks" ?

When you look at the bank buy/sell portion, you may notice a counter in the bottom right corner, aka coin counter. Now, when you SELL gold bars that counter goes up. When you BUY them that counter goes down. My counter is resetting every 5 game hours. Ergo i cannot buy more gold bars because the coins selling all the other crap you can sell to make that counter go up, are gone. The coins i get from selling gold bars, are gone. I'm not sure howto make it clearer. :-/

I have not spent much time in the game this patch... But the coins have always been stored in your inventory. Never knew the coins to be stored in the kiosk.

Have you been putting your coins away between runs?

I see what you mean. When you sell gold bars you get the coins directly into your inventory as Veevslav said, I guess you didn't buy (or sell) it. You stopped in the middle of the process.

Thanks, this helped me figure out i was in fact glitching. The coins weren't appearing in my inventory after selling gold bars. I started a new game and it works fine now.

You're welcome, buying gold bars at the bank is a bit weird, I had problems too and it's even more difficult to describe.

The coins will drop on the ground if your inventory is full.

There is also a glitch or side effect (not sure what to call it), where the game will "tick" every 6 or so seconds. I believe its an internal counter for stuff like DoTs and buffs, but its not always observable. If you play long enough you will run into it. What can happen when the tick expires or goes off is that it will reset you current crafting queue either entirely or resets the amount to craft back to 1.

Example of this might be you go to a Kiosk and click an item to buy, gold in this case. You then up the amount of bars to purchase to 10. Before you can click the purchase button, the "tick" goes off and resets everything leaving you with NOTHING selected. You still clicked the purchase button and to your knowledge you think the transaction is completed until you search your inventory for the item you bought and its not there because you technically didn't buy anything.

Like I said, its not always observable, but when it is, the easiest way to see it is to open your inventory and punch in 10 arrows to craft. Just hang right there and it will eventually reset to 1 arrow to craft.

I don't necessarily think this is whats going on here but who knows...
