About items reassembling.
Had done some tests and want to share results.
Results maybe not full. But maybe someone will add something in comments.
------
FIrst table is what score items gives when you use it as input.
Rarity 1 - white, 2 - blue, 3 - yellow
Tier Rarity Score
1 1 4(~3.75)
1 2 6
1 3 9
2 1 7
2 2 10
2 3 12
3 1 11
3 2 13
3 3 16
4 1 15
4 2 17
4 3 19
5 1 18
5 2 21
5 3 23
6 1 22 (~21.75)
6 2 24
6 3 27
------
Second table is score gaps for tiers got on output.

Tier: ScoreGap
1: 26
2: 29-44
3: 47-63
4: 65-80
5: 83-96
6: 100
Dunno if there is unseen numbers above 100.
------
During my observations noticed that there is no guarantee way to get yellow rarity gear. But there is some probabilities. At the gap beggining its mostly white, middle is blue and end is not mostly, but much higher chance of getting yellow. But it still have small chances to get yellow on gap start. Also even if you use on input all 5 yellows of same tier u still get only next tier, but at its score gap end with good chances for yellow.
------
Also made some templates for quick reassembling when have too many chests with gear.
To get next tier from previous tier you can use that:
W - white, B - blue, Y - yellow rarity
[4B+1W] or [1Y+2B+2W] or [2Y + 3W]
------
Didnt count amount of tests, but its more than 100 (after 84 i stopped write and only checked if that still in gaps limits).

Great Stuff, Thank You, you are the first person on Steam I have ever awarded
Great info, thanx for the post.
Nice work. Those formulae are useful for getting equipment of specific tier.

One thing about the score is that the number in display may or may not be an integer. That is, it may be a floating-point number whose mantissa is not being shown. For example, The productivity score shown in the right panel of the Equipment Modification Workbench when 4 tier-1 whites are placed in is 15, whereas the score shown is 4 when 1 tier-1 white is placed in.

To help complete your 1st table (that row of "6 1 ?"), the productivity score shown when 1 tier-6 white is placed in the workbench is 22; the score shown is 65 when 3 tier-6 whites are placed in; 87 for 4 tier-6 whites.

As for the 2nd table, I tested 4 tier-6 whites + 1 tier 1 yellow (i.e. the total productivity score being 96) and the output item is of tier-5. So, the upper boundary of that gap of scores for producing a tier-5 is still yet to be known. Nonetheless, still good efforts from you on the estimations.
updated initial post with new info, thx for comments :)
good info but a small issue with the last part about what to use to get a next tier item at least one of these calculations don't work for example when going to T3 to T4 1W(10) + 4B(13*4=52) you get 62 which is not quite enough for the T4 threshold (65) I've checked the others and everything else seems to work but just a warning you can still get a T3 and not a T4 item from 4B+1W of T3's
