should we start a fandom wiki for this game?
you guys, there really isn't a good site for information on this game. people are always looking but can't find anything. there is already a NOTD page on fandom but it's for another game with the same name. but we could still start a page.

i'm just reaching out here to see if others of the long time players of this game would help get all the info plugged in to the wiki. it's not something i want to do by myself, but i will fire it up and start a page and chip in and do my part.

let me know, and let's discuss this topic here.

i don't really know how fandom works, never used it before, so if you can't edit and maybe need admin approval or something let me know what your username is on fandom so i can figure out how to add you

Why to create another "discuss" platform when is already one here...really dont understand how young minds work :steamfacepalm:
Another platform wont make this game better , or easier or more optimized

it's not a discussion board it's a wiki. you know, a place where you document everything about the game so people can search it up

There was one before, with a Discord channel too but it kinda got abandoned.

and it's going to go away. that's why we need a fandom cause that one won't go away on us one day!

The issue with the Wiki that was created previously is the devs do not release any explanations most of the time. I can completely understand there is a language barrier and small indie studio but if you want your game to actually take off you need to communicate more with the people who are paying your bills. Everything is outdated because any momentum they have gotten after patches is quickly dissolved because of their radio silence.

Even Neebs gaming played the game once and put out a video but none since then so yeah this is an easy way to kill a game when you do not share any sort of progress or explain what you change or modify.

we're in there playing it and learning it anyways. a wiki is so that players can share what they know with other players. it's not on the devs to create the wiki. that's on us. same with mods.

That is not what I mean, most games give changelogs that players can create fan pages using. Percentage-based changes that are worth noting and documenting. Try figuring out Coils for example or drop rates. People here did not even know that traps used on bosses remove the loot chances for special gear for example.

I am not against the idea either, I think the developers need to have a volunteer community manager at the very least to share information to help grow the base.

the problem with jackto is that they are a very small team. asking them to do more is like asking the actual development to go even slower.

and the coils are exactly an example of what i'm talking about. people start searching the web for how these work and can't find anything.

the devs aren't going to do it. if we don't do then it just won't get done.

that's what my unofficial patch notes are for. they don't release their numbers. We testers just estimate. We do have some commands available but so far, it's for Electricity and even then, it's not that useful.

Before there was a command that shows HP of EVERY Zombie and even of the Player but was removed.

I was able to make use of it before, that's why I know how much HPs some zombies have at later waves,

with the DevCharacter showing the HP of these zombies, on Day 20, I have 13k HP Butchers.. really need some thing stronger than my 30 per hit Cutter. lol

During those times too, I learned that they don't have Whole numbers as HP, same with your damage.
