Also, when you get to nights 6-10, you're not going to fight that horde out in the field. Even with my +8 Light Saber and all skills in the research tree, I wouldn't want to fight that horde without my base - at least not the final rush. Everything before that is just a massacre, but that last rush with 3+ spiders, 3+ green giants, 3+ flesh giants, 2+ butchers... that is not a joke horde. The bosses are easy solo, but when you have 7-12 of them all at once.... those traps are the difference between you running for 5 minutes and putting together selective fights against the stronger zombies that get through.
I would like to see the hordes stronger early on. I really feel like I get back to my base at 11pm, start working on organizing my stuff and realize that it's 1am... I run over to my traps to realize they haven't even worked through the pendulum's 20 charges.
By early on you mean 2 mins past midnight on say day 5? or day one right from the start of the games first attack.
Id much prefer a more gradual build up, Im an explorer, cant help myself I spend time roaming around during the day and less on my base and I pay for it when they stomp me at night.
