Character changed his hair after loading

Just as title says, after the chapter when Irving gets black hair I did a couple more missions and his hair remained black.
Saved the game, and after loading today I found that both his portrait and his sprite are using his old hair model.
Is there any way to fix this? Not gamebreaking or anything, I just don't like going through the story where every companion is commenting on this change and looking at him while he's looking basically the same.
