Shining force 2 its one of the best RPG ever created.....i still play it time to time. So yeah there a lack in game industry for games like shining force, and final fantasy tatics.

This doesn't look like Shining Force. It looks like Fire Emblem. Shining Force has a combat ascetic where the camera is behind the hero(foreground), while the creature/enemy is in front view(background). Closest game with combat like that was Golden Sun on NDS.

This looks like a Fire Emblem clone, which isn't bad. That's also a great game series and worth checking out. It's a very different game then Shining Force. The newer ones are take it or leave it, as they have dating sim elements. Safe to say if you like Shining Force you'll like up to FE: Dark Dragon at least.

Yeah to me this looks more like a Fire Emblem clone, which is great.

I'm 45 and loved the old pre-action RPG Shining games. SF1-3. SFCD, and even similar games like Vandal Hearts, Ogre Battle, and Dark Wizard. REALLY looking forward to this game.

Only question is, can I class change at any point? A lot of the games I mentioned in this post had class changes that made your progression feel powerful and severe. I miss that.
