RuneScape: Dragonwilds

RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Game = Unplayable
Who found a solution when you realized you can't even play on the lowest setting in the game? 😂 1/4 of the player base is stuck on this problem and either has refunded the game or gave up trying to find a solution.

Game runs fine. I have no problem getting 240fps locked at epic settings. Issue is that it looks absolutely terrible. The bloom, the brightness all the post processing makes the game look like garbage

You're actually unhinged.
People like me? U mean people who aren't rich? 😂

You kinda answered yourself tbh. You fail to realize, PC Gaming isn't a necessity, It's a privilege. Consoles exist for a reason, Not everyone can afford the privilege of doing specific things in Life. You think I btch and moan because I can't go out and buy a House? I don't, I just swallow the fact that it's physically impossible in this market. Yet you're complaining about a Computer, Something significantly lower cost than a literal Home. If you can't afford to own a PC, Then you should probably be on Console. But if you refuse that, and get a lower end PC, Then don't expect every developer to make Games playable on technological equivalent of a sh1tbox.

I'm sorry if this comes off as rude, But I don't sugarcoat stuff. A person in here said they have 32GBs of ram proudly, Literally anyone with any knowledge on Computers, will tell you. 32GB is not the mandatory requirement for RAM nowadays, A lot of games use a ♥♥♥♥ load of RAM nowadays, compared to 2010 era, Because it adds less strain on other components and frees up more use on GPU's. The mandatory requirement for RAM has been about 64GB for almost a decade now, about 2018-ish, When one of the COD's used like 20GB of RAM alone, You're windows system uses about 3-6GB of RAM as well, You can't run games on 20-25GB of RAM anymore. Give it a few years and the requirement for RAM is gonna be closer to 100+ (Personally I feel like GTA6 is gonna utilize RAM a lot). We're already starting to see it, A lot of games exist nowadays that are called "RAM Heavy", That wasn't even really a common term in the 2010s, But now it is. Developers want to squeeze everything they can out of a System, so that it runs better. This is the end result, Higher RAM requirements, It was a super underutilized piece that is now being used more often.

Anyone else getting to a point during the game their fps noticeably drops and is stuck until restarting the game?
It doesn’t happen all the time.

Sharpness to 25 fixed it for me but what causes massive issues is the lighting from the torches. The purple ones are literally like I’ve been flash banged.

I got an i9 14900k and RTX 4080 super. I'll be lucky if the game even loads
Crazy how you pull numbers out of thin air. Played for 30 hours here so far. Enjoying it.

Hope you can figure out your issues soon!

I have a 4090, in 2k Max Graphics I in the starter tutorial area average 80fps with drops down to 47-50. I play without DLSS and Frame Gen because the graphics downgrade isnt worth the FPS increase. Game isn't graphically stunning, it also does not have good performance. Before you say, well that's your fault for not using DLSS on Performance and Frame Gen, No, its lazy modern day game development who half ass on optimizing. We live in an age now where we can't have a good looking game and good FPS, when games don't look that "Great". Its either use DLSS/Frame Gen and suffer terrible ghosting, blurry constant changing resolutions, or suffer sub 60 fps on most game settings on PC's that should run it just fine. Something being "Playable" Doesnt just make it ok. People think that, well I am getting more than 20fps, so thats playable, thats fine, we are playing no issues lol.

Okay here my speccs

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz
Asus z170-K
AMD Readeon 7600 RX
24 GB Ram From different Companys and different MhZ
Win 10 Home Edition

Rubberband,Gum and the Blessing of the Omnissiah

And the Game runs fine without any problems. I dont understand your problem. My PC components are mostly from 2005 and it runs. I think the problem is you.
It's running great on my 5080, obviously.
But I can see on my GPU stats that it is pulling quite a bit of power from it.
So I'd agree there are some optimization issues, but honestly that is to be expected from an EA title.
I'm almost at 20 hours running on max settings and haven't had a single issue. I'm sure its the game that is the problem though

"Sitting here with a RX 9070 and i7 13700k with fps around 30"? Sitting with Intel Core i5-12600K GtX 1660TI and 32g ram with steady 60FPS (capped) On low/FSR/TAA .Removed bloom/motion blur in engine.ini On "default I had 30 fps but after some changes steady fps
Sauro Apr 19 @ 3:49am
Not me sitting here with my ancient 1080 (Not even 1080Ti) and the game runs smoothly. No lag, no tearing, no cap at 30 fps. Just runs smoothly, so it does seem like a you problem.
Try my custom settings to get up to 200+ Frames in game..

Irrelevant.

You're expecting every single game developer to make their games playable on old hardware? Like how long do you want them to go back here? What's realistic to you? Should they make the games work on Windows 3.1 as well? Afterall, we should cater to everyone, right?

Upgrade your potato. It's a you problem. Get an education and a job and earn money? If you're unable to do so, maybe find a different hobby, or realize you won't be playing NEW games.

You're being extremely unrealistic and unreasonable.
god u sounds like zero people like u
