is online matches still alive ?

if i buy this game ,can i play online matches ?

MBTL has on average 300 max players on steam and no crossplay, sooo... you would probably have to put some effort to reliably find matches, like discord etc.

but it may also depend on region ant time, sometimes i would open a lobby and people will come to play each 15-20min, and other times lobby can be empty for hours, so search and match though discord is definitely more reliable, but it's an extra step so it's up to you
