If you absolutely wanted/need to, you could get it to work with 3rd party tools and it wouldn't be a problem for casual PC play.
Keyboard works fine for fighting games - on the condition that your keyboard doesn't suffer from "Ghosting" which is when it only supports a limited number of keys pressed down at the same time - and any key pressed after that isn't registered.
