auto-combo is good?
Hi everyone

There is a problem with an auto-combo series of moves. It looks like the combo became very unoptimal and its kinda hard to control in combat.

Can I turn off this function? Or some tricks to make it easier to make custom combos?

Its not unplayable since there is a good input registration but I wonder if there is a way to make it easier.

You can't turn it off, but you can avoid it on 5B, 5C, and air attacks, and do up to three consecutive 5/2A's by holding back.

The auto combo does have use in forcing the opponent to a specific position relative to you, and the nature of the unique auto combo normal can be potentially useful depending on character (with Saber's being the most notable).
This game will force you to have clean inputs and in the long run that's a good thing that will translate well even to other fighting games.

If only someone made a mod to disable auto combos, would give people a reason to play this game over the og, although the RPS is still an issue.

I used to go out of my way to completely avoid using auto combos (I have clean inputs most of the time) but I found that when I started abusing auto combos and then played other fighters, it became a bad habit. I'm sure it depends on the person and how/what you're playing, though. I suspect it also makes newbies think they're doing big combos, when damage from autos is actually less.

Anyway, that's all gonna change now. Something to look forward to. I know some newbies who really hated the auto combos and dropped the game, so hopefully they hear about this and give it a chance now.
