What is the "jc" button input in training mode?

I tried looking at the demo for the move in-game and it just looks like a normal kick to me.

I think it means "Jump Cancel" meaning you have to jump right after whatever move your doing

Hmm, I'm looking in the tutorial and there's literally nothing about jump cancelling, unless I'm overlooking it somewhere. How do I perform a jc?

after you input the last move just press jump one time and keep going with the string really fast
