actually it's the opposite. By bringing in the FATE audience, they'll want the entire cast over the melty cast. I can promise you that most of the playerbase will prefer FATE characters over melty now that they got this crowd involved.

I hope they do not flood the game with Fate guests. Like, Saber is a good idea but it shouldn't be turned into a Fate game with a few Tsukihime characters.
At least some less obvious ones like Amakusa, Bazett, Astolfo, or Ishkander instead of the same Cu, EMIYA, and Gilgamesh whose fans are never hurting for content. Just play Unlimited Codes! Yeah it's 3D but it has 2D style movesets, like Rival Schools. I would love an Unlimited Codes 2.
In terms of additional guests I'd much rather see more Kara no Kyokai, Mahoyo, maybe some really deep cut Type-Moon stuff like Mahotsuki no Hako, Notes, Fire Girl, or DDD, or maybe an Under Night In Birth guest, maybe even a character from Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax.
