For your two question posts and other things you might want to know about company trucks:

Company trucking is more for your convenience rather than overall profit. Say you don't want to do coal or steel runs in the gapa region and want to focus on steel production you can assign company vehicles (if suitable for that job) to do the 'dirty work' for you.

As Purple said, company NPCs are not for making money (albeit they do), but to maintain town boni and supply routes you dont want to run yourself (e.g. containers to Gu-Jwa).

Also think they should be a bit more profitable.
Takes forever to earn back money for the truck.

To click trough all of them every other day to do the maintenance is also really annoying.

You can't have enough of them to keep multiple town bonuses up an do deliveries.
Extra one is another 50k, hope it does not increase further, did not check yet.

You only need money when you're new. Then comes a time when you just have money waiting for something new to come out.

Too make matters worse you start the game renting a truck or paying a percentage to a company for the use of their vehicle so you get a mind set the if you hire npc to work for you they will get the same percentage and we will get the difference because we own the company.

love how the game screws with our mind giving us this sence of false hope.

not saying it is a bad game but they should fix.

i can make 7k doing deliveries and loose 5k to the company which owns the truck. per run.
why on earth we dont see that same sort of money flowing into our bank per run.

instead what we get is such a small fraction compared to what we get.
and in the beginning the amount we make compared to the npc drivers is the difference between chalk and cheese.

again this balance needs to be fixed.

Like many said, the company is for pocket change. YOU earn the big paydays. You have to do the effort. Besides, you still have to pay for fuel, fees, and for the driver.

Think of company trucking for one thing only, to built the town bonus. In the closed testing branch it will come more into play with some things only being opened after the economy reaches a certain level, which is going to break the game for people who play on small servers or solo, even with the company trucks.

For instance if you do a bus route in a town you can boost the town bonus by 20% or so. Deliver food and stuff, increase it a little more. But making money that way, nope. You make more doing a short delivery or taxi mission.
