Technical Difficulties with Launch

ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights was planned to go live on Steam at 5pm JST / Midnight PT / 8:00 am UTC today. We had a Steam Comunity announcement scheduled for about 1 hour ago to rejoice in the launch which went out and has now been updated with a message similar to this one.

We are having technical difficulties with Steam, but the team is working to resolve them ASAP and get #EnderLilies out the door.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

The only thing I want to know, by 'having technical difficulties with Steam' you mean on steam's end or on your end?

On Steam's end.
Honestly, considering how often this happen, i wish Valve would improve manual or whatever they give to developers/publishers, so they would know better how things works overall.

Instead of learning from mistakes.

yea this happens all the time with indie games it seems. the last metroidvania i was excited for had this exact same issue at launch.

Honestly, considering how often this happen, i wish Valve would improve manual or whatever they give to developers/publishers, so they would know better how things works overall.

Any proof? Seen a lot of games released just fine.

Personal experience in, like, last 10 years?
I have way too many games on Steam to remember which one of them was affected by this, but it definitely happens. Just not a common thing.

Don't worry, it will be available soon. In 40 minutes or 1 hour 40 minutes.

i know the same thing happened with endless memories when it launched, ended up not coming out for like another day or 2 after it was supposed to(because of steam not because of any delays or anything)

Some people, in their frustration, have been less patient. This is understandable. Some have unfortunately taken their frustration out on others in the forum, which we do not condone. We are in the process of deleting individual posts which have not been respectful of others in the community.

as long as the game comes up to play i am happy so i can keep waiting, take your time and dont rush

it is unfourtunate that there are problems but the game looks really cool so im fine waiting till this all is fixed and also wanted to say that the developers are great for also actively keeping us informed about this and i hope everything turns out alright but till then, ill just patiently wait for things to get finished and be happy when i can have the chance to play it.
