kinda boring and not much to do tbh , i guess if youre into like rain sounds and calm music or smth this could be cool while studying since its free , but you can also just use youtube for that so i dont really see the point in this game ..

I went back and forth on whether to leave a positive or negative review for this game. On its own, Virtual Cottage doesn't offer much in terms of features — there are other productivity-focused games out there with more customisation options and a broader selection of music. In fact, after a while, I did end up using my own music instead.

HOWEVER, what sets this game apart is that it's completely free. And that is a huge bonus. It's a low-risk way to find out if this style of ambient productivity game works for you. Plus, the developers are working on a sequel, Virtual Cottage 2, which promises to expand and improve on the original in meaningful ways. If the first game helps you stay focused or brings you a bit of calm, you should definitely think about getting its successor.
