how has no one asked this yet
how do I remove the overlay, I checked google, and I've checked here many times, and nothing has been helpful

Is the overlay you are referring to the image in front of the avatar within the software? It is part of the scene and cannot be removed. You can switch to another 2d scene or a 2.5d skybox scene.

Is the overlay you are referring to the image in front of the avatar within the software? It is part of the scene and cannot be removed. You can switch to another 2d scene or a 2.5d skybox scene.
