This game is bad!

I love the old resident evil games but this game makes you wanna quit. Unlike the old RE games, youre aimlessly exploring the whole place trying find the next key item in order to progress the game. This game is highly infuriating and doesn't respect your time especialy that elevator puzzle. I don't recommend this game at all if youre into the old resident evil/ silent hill game. It's a shame because I really wanted love this game, but its super infuriating how the level design is.

I loved this game, only difficult puzzle was one involving music, I was actually pleased the solution to puzzles wasn't in the same room or was super obvious like in modern survival horror games, I only got "stuck" two times but all it took was re-reading the files when everything else failed.

Damn, I wanted an old school RE type game, but if I have to explore around a mansion looking for key items and solving puzzles that really changes things

I agree, I feel like most of the puzzles are pretty easy if you think a little outside the box, and made me feel good once i got them. The music puzzle i had to look up cuz i dont think its even possible for me to recreate it in a million years cuz im terrible with music lol unlucky. I can see why someone wouldn't enjoy it tho, i usually hate puzzles in games and there is a ton of backtracking and going between the grey world and the normal one lol

Looking for a great game. I just finished one of the best games I have ever played. Beyond Hanwell. It is in Early Access but you would never know it. It is as good as any finished game I have ever played. I love RE but this is even better. Awesome graphics, great game play and the developer is tweaking the game as we go taking suggestions from other players.

To be fair they did write a negative review already. IMO the game doesn't deserve it, though

Some puzzles I was like, "I'M A GENIUS" then other puzzles I'm like, "Okay, I would have NEVER figured that out..." after looking up a guide on where to go. The ones that I figured out felt extremely satisfying though.

Simply put... real, bad game!

bad voice acting, horrible combat. there are certain areas of the game and puzzles are too confusing. the monkey judge puzzle is ridiculous and its beyond frustrating to waste over an hour going around the hospital bc im not sure if i missed something somewhere else. make each area more closed off so your search is at least in a smaller zone and will help keep the player foccused and that they re not just wasting their time.
i got this for $5 but it was a waste of 10 hours.

I'm guessing they only played the ones on modern consoles, since those have things like objective lists and visual indicators (the yellow paint and tape).

this game is boring, but it isn't bad. Takes me back to the ps1 days, and that's not a bad thing.
