Is the Switch version that bad?

I was thinking on buying a Switch version of this game because I want to have a physical copy and it's the only console I own but I was reading through internet forums that the Switch version is a bad port. Of course I don't expect it to have PC fidelity, but is it that awful to the point of being unplayable?
