10$ oder Euros for a game soundtrack can be much based on ones income, yes.
But for a soundtrack where people invested their time and skills, had to learn a lot on how to produce music, bought all the equipment and plug-ins they needed to create it, I personally do not think it is expensive.

I mean "it took effort to make" isn't really a good reason for making something expensive when it's basically free to distribute once it's made. Most other soundtracks on Steam also took lots of time, money and effort and aren't as expensive.

That said most people only buy soundtracks on Steam to support the developers, so I don't have an issue with the pricing, just this mindset.

Just because it can be replicated digitally does not mean to give it away for free, why should the artist? A game can also be duplicated digitally, so you demand to get it for free once the company created it? Good luck arguing.
