For a good ending, use the VHS tape (experimental room) to return to Anna. Use the bolt cutters and talk to her. After the cutscene, use the cross key on the entrance door to exit the main hall and end the game.

So Emma (Caroline Walker) and Anna leave the hospital together.
My question:
Both are twin sisters.
Why is Emma (Caroline Walker) grown up (tall)
but Anna just a child??

I *think* that by freeing Anna from the cage she will never endure the fate of turning into a monster in any of the time periods. Now that she is freed in the past, the events of this game never actually take place. However that also means their Grandfather Noah is still alive (Im guessing that is what Tormented Souls 2 will be about)

I understand the confusion. It seems like Anna should have grown to be Caroline's age the moment she passed through the mirror

Yes, you misunderstood time travel : P

Emma as an adult "time travels" to past to rescue Anna. Anna then "time travels" to the present. In any other instance of time travel in various media, you don't just magically age to the time you go to. If you did, then Emma would have been a kid when she went to the past.
