Possible bug? Some nail clip pickups only giving 1 nail.

Two nail clips located in West Wing floor 1 are only giving me 1 nail, when all others so far have given 10.

The two clips that I know do this are:

• The clip in the warehouse.
  
• The clip in the locker in the nearby closet.

I've played through, a couple of times, to the point where I can pick up these clips and, on a playthrough continued from a save in the Examination Room, this behaviour is repeatable. I haven't yet reached any other clips to confirm whether or not further pickups do this.

Is this intentional?

i think its on purpose because i reloaded my save and it still gives 1 nail. i kinda like it since it keeps you on your toes not expecting the same nail count everytime.

Ah, I'm not the only one, then! Thanks for confirming - sounds like it's intentional. It's just that such a massive drop in what you get seems a bit... excessive...

Oh well, I'm sure I'll cope!

I think it's intentional. I can recall one of nail piles gives twelve and there were six shotgun shells in one of the shells pickups. Not sure about charges though.

It could be linked to some hidden difficulty adjustment maybe.

Played for a while once, then went back and reloaded a save to redo an area with hindsight of what was waiting for me. Did it way quicker but also found less ammunition on the nails pickup.
