Floppy Disc puzzle is broken now [spoilers] Game Breaking Bug?

both Martha and zero do not work. I'm stuck and can't progress any further. Game breaking bug?

Checked file integrity, reloaded save, nothing works it gives the Error Disk Write Protected message no matter what keyword you type in.

You need to physically unlock the floppy disk. You need to do it BEFORE using the computer. Examine your floppy disk and look closely.

Just to be clear, we're not talking about unlocking as in just "getting the item", there's another step you have to do to solve the puzzle.

Hint:
You should examine the disk in your inventory thoroughly.

Solution:
There's a small switch with a padlock icon to remove the writing protection on the disk. Only then you'll be able to write the new word using the PC.

If you've already done this then yeah, it must be a bug.

same as the above guy, how else do you put in the code without it.

slide the metal part over and see 3+6-9 type in either ZERO or MARTHA neither work and say Disk Write Error. At the computer to unlock door mainframe.

entire video is a spoiler however at 1:55 it doesn't work anymore neither codes work.

Yeah, if you did it just like in the video it should work, guess it's a bug after all. No idea if it was present before the patch, all my saves are pretty far into the game so I can't try it myself. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

You're sure you're removing the write-protection? It's not the big slidey thing that reveals the 3 + 6 - 9, it's a very tiny thing in the absolute corner of the disk.

Just beat the game today, can confirm that after unlocking the floppy, the code wouldn’t work. After ejecting it, I had to lock then unlock again then try it again for it to work. Reloaded the save and replicated the issue.
So my recommendation is to toggle the lock switch on and off, leaving it in the “unlocked” position when done, and keep doing it till it works

Took me a few times of unlock eject lock unlock to get it to work. Sometimes id unlock, put in, martha, says write protected. eject, unlock again, martha, and it would work. Its a bit wonky but i DID get it to work eventually. Just gotta fiddle with it.
