What's the best keyboard binding for MK+MP and HK+HP?
I'm considering switching from Pad/Stick to keyboard and maybe some of the keyboard players here can give me some suggestions for the mapping? I'm currently using the following:

ASD = directions
Space = jump
789456 on num = attack buttons
+ on num = throw

But I have no idea where to place the shortcuts for the drive buttons. First I mapped them to 1 and 2 on num, but since every key feels the same on the num pad I often confused the buttons. Now I'm trying to use MK+MP on the left shift, which feels really good when drive rushing to the right but not so much to the left. Any other suggestions?

Reassign the right arrow to be a numpad number and set it to Drive Parry. This method assumes you have a gaming keyboard/software. If not, there's autohotkey.

Drive Impact work fine on either numpad number 1 or 3 -- you choose whichever is comfortable.

As a side note, you may want to try using QWE for directions, because it puts your hand in a more relaxed position.

Do you mean the right arrow on the arrow block? Isn't that a little bit far away from the 789 456 block? Or do you mean using the arrow block with 456 123 for the attacks? I mean I could probably use the PgDn key since it's close enough to the 7 but still separated...

The QWE thing seems to be a great advice, thank you.

If you map the attack buttons to numpad 789456, then the right arrow (one of the four arrows left of the numpad) should be right under your thumb.

I see, thanks.

Thanks for this idea, resting my hand there for a bit feels really good. I'm even considering WER so I don't accidentally press tab to bring up the menu.

I have a 10KL keyboard, so the six attack buttons work really well on the Insert, Home etc bunch of six keys, And my thumb is on right ctrl and right shift to use those, too.

And I'm going to invest in a hitbox soon, because keyboard controls feels good.
