Matchmaking still broken?

Left near release since the matchmaking for ranked constantly did the "find match for a split second, disappears, back to searching" thing for 5-10 minutes before ever finding a match and it looks like it's still doing that. Any way to fix this or better to stay away for a while still?

No idea. For me it was never broken. I keep getting matches back-to-back every 20-30 seconds without any issues, and I've been playing daily since day 1. I have Crossplay ON, Auto-Accept ON, and Connection Type to All.

Never had any issues finding matches or during the matches. Try changing your settings.

It disappears because the person they brought up for you auto declined because he saw you're on wifi. Just a guess I auto decline all wifi myself and it feels like many do the same because I get offered them often.

yup, that's me as well. I accept all matches, and i always get matches.

I have it happen to as soon as i hit tab to accept it. It's gone and it does it like 5 times in a row. I am not on wifi so i doubt it's i am being shut out. It's been like this since launch for me.

Didn't know there was an auto accept function among these 100 menus and options. Thanks for the tip

Happens to me too. I'm not on wifi either. And also sometimes after these interruptions I get a random error code.

Auto-accept doesn't change this "find match for a split second, disappears, back to searching".

Seems to have changed it so far for me, I'm just auto accepting those matches that would otherwise pop up and instantly disappear. So now all I get is a 5 minute wait to actually find those.

I also have this option turned on, but it takes almost just as long as with accepting. I decided to stick with auto because I wouldn't be able to find matches otherwise. It sucks.

Funny how some people wait 10 seconds and find a match. For me, it's something impossible -- I'm jealous. I'm very frustrated in matchmaking in such an expensive game.

I’m yet another person who has no problem with ranked matchmaking.

Wired connection, crossplay on, connection speed: all and auto accept on. Few seconds between matches.

If I had any problems with ranked I would focus on HUB arcade games or custom rooms.

It seems the experience is highly varied based on a country and the region within a country.

No, it's still a thing. And it's kuz theres an option you can set where it'll show you the opponents connection, so you can choose to continue or decline. Most people have it on kuz we wanna avoid wifi players as much as possible

Yeah theres so many wifi players, and if you have auto, i get matches after 5 seconds. But declining wifi matches, trying to find that one cable player, it can take 2-3 minutes before I get a decent match

WiFi players is a problem but I think it makes more problem for them than for me. Some games even feel OK. I reject a rematch if connection is bad for me however.
