can you remove the colour effects ingame? :)
when doing certain moves there comes a splash of paint on some moves, is it something you can remove, just wondering, or is it the charm of the game :)

That's the look of the game (and a very loud visual indicator to help you react in time) and cannot be turned off.

Unfortunately, there's no option to turn off this "charm" or change the colors.

I SEE, thank you for the answer!

You'll get used to it I guess, I did. It's also a good thing like the green for drive rush. It makes the action more readable.

The "Splattoon" VFX in this game are some of the most overbearing and eye-searing in the genre... Like SFIV's "Ink" pallet -- only, turned to "11" and displayed in sepia. It's the closet I've seen to fighting vomit.

I'm still anxiously waiting for some modder to remove all this on-screen up-chuck... I know SFIV and SFxT has mods to remove similar effects, like impact clouds... So, here's hoping 🤮

You hate splashes of colour? Yet you love MK with all the blood. Odd.

Tried it the other day - seems like SF Ultra Woke Edition - too late for refund

Good. Read dates on threads next time.

People who aren't you exist, yes. Solipsism is not a tenable philosophical position because of its ontological and epistemological problems, no.
That's the part of the charm I like about SF since 4. Still can't believe 5 actually they get rid of this. Glad they make it back on 6

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
