they still look like women and i’d still hit but marissa ain’t it . give me she-hulk or a amazon woman . i’d even take lizzo over marisa 💀💀
Do refresh my memory.
Too bad your ban wasn't permanent.
Real talk though, uninstall the game, bro. It's clearly not for you what with all these actual honk take threads.
Nobody would say that the original SF2 artwork belongs to the "pretty" side of the spectrum which goes back to my point that it's apparently only ever okay to change the characters in one direction but not others.
Here's the thing though it gives Chun Li a unique shape or silhouette. Put Chun Li and Cammy's character models next each other from the neck down without any clothing and you can immediately tell who is who. Now do the same thing with the large majority of Dead Or Alive, Mortal Kombat or Tekken female characters and you'd have a hard time telling them apart.
SF tends to lean more towards the exaggerated and it's fine because it's something that defines them or sets them apart from other series.
There isn't balance in SF5 Cammy. It's Cammy's design moving in a single direction. Her eyes are the smallest they've ever been, her boobs are the biggest they've ever been, her butt and legs are the biggest they've ever been.
The reason for the SF5 female characters being the way they were has a lot to do with the fact that one of the producers on SF5 was trying to sexualize them as much as possible. It's why Laura has the design she does, it's why Juri's SF4 design went from a smaller toned body to a more curvy body in SF5, it's why Chun Li and Cammy had jiggle physics, Cammy had pokey nipples, etc. In the end they ended up having to walk back pretty much all of these decisions whether it was in SF5's various updates or SF6.
Again, it goes back to how for some people it's okay for the designs to change but only change in a single direction.
This just looks like Cammy cosplaying as Nina Williams from Tekken.
Most people would not be able to tell that's Cammy from SF just by looking at her.
Just report him for spamming the forum with topics. He makes a topic a day if not multiple so it's not difficult for Steam mods to see that if and when he gets reported.
It's obvious that he thinks he can disguise it if the topics seem harmless but still fails the realize that it's still spam regardless of what the topics are about. He can't resist talking about how bad he thinks the female characters look either. Just look at this topic it's a thinly veiled attempt to do that. "I'll make a harmless topic about how SF2 looks better and then later in the thread I can go back talking ♥♥♥♥ about the characters the way I always do."
Like I said, it's so obvious what he's doing or trying to do.
SF6 bothers him so much and yet he thinks the best way to deal with that is to apparently constantly subject himself to SF6 and talk about it nonstop.
Even if his bans are only temporary it probably annoys and frustrates him when he's unable to make topics given the frequency he makes them with.
Can we get an 'actual honk take' Steam points award with a goose? XD
Currently OP is replying to their own 'MK is still woke' thread over on the MK1 board. They just love starting threads, I guess.
I would, maybe, be able to distinguish Chun Li, but Cammy or any other SF female... Hardly. My arguments are not on Capcom's idea, just design that could've been better in SF6.
OK, how about SFIV Cammy? She looked better than SF6 Cammy. Or Alpha Cammy, still better than SF6 Cammy. SFV, in everything wrong, did something right. One of things Capcom did right was Cammy's design.
How that sexualization makes sense when SF6 is literally build on fetishes? SF6 artwork section is worse than any hentai game I've ever seen. Even for some 18+ games that aren't adult heavy.
Cammy also had inverted textures for over a year. A lot of complaints were filled over update they messed her up.
You are oversimplifying. Update from banana Ken to SF6 is improvement. Update from SFV Cammy to SF6 Cammy is deterioration.
It's Fiona Belli (Haunting Ground) cosplay costume Capcom made available for weekly battles in SFV. Later on available for purchase.
Maybe this one is to your liking.

But the only improvement seems to be "sexy" and I don't know that I would consider that to be a necessary direction to go in.
Let's look at SF6's female cast
Chun Li
Cammy
Juri
Manon
Kimberly
Marisa
Lily
If you silhouetted their naked bodies from the neck down you'd have a hard time distinguishing them from one another? I could see some people maybe getting Juri and Cammy mixed up, maybe Kimberly too but I would say SF6 has a pretty good variety of shapes or designs to help easily distinguish the characters from one another.
They're not like the Dolls from the Alpha series of SF5's story mode where it's basically just a different head on the same body.
This is all subjective. Them giving her smaller eyes, a reduced forehead size, bigger boobs, bigger thighs, etc, is not subjective however.
Right, SF6 has a lot of sexualization too, especially in its artwork and there are a number of fetishes at play but the difference is that it's not the same fetish over and over again like with Dead or Alive.
Dead or Alive presents itself or its female characters as "this is what attractive is" by having the same female design repeated over and over again like barbie dolls that are just wearing different clothes and wigs. DOA doesn't even have a female character with muscle tone. I'm not saying they have to go as crazy as something like Marisa but they don't even have a character that matches Cammy.
I think this ended up being a big problem with the DOA series over time because after a while people, especially casuals, just started seeing DOA's characters, visuals and gameplay as being the same thing on repeat whereas when you look at something like Street Fighter the art direction and gameplay tends to make sweeping changes per every major new entry.
If you offer a variety, whether it's different fetishes or not, people clearly don't come down on it the same way they do when it's just the same type of female character repeated over and over again.
No, see the difference is that SF5 Ken never really looked like Ken. There is a defined look that people have in their head for what Ken is supposed to look like and SF5 clearly wasn't it. People want Ken to resemble SF2 Ken. When Smash Bros added Ken they clearly modeled him after his SF2 incarnation.
Cammy isn't quite the same as Ken in that regard. Her look between SF2 and SF5 is quite different and her SF5 design is not her most iconic or widely recognized design. Her SF5 design is not the thing people specifically point to when they say "Cammy should look like this."
It's fine, it's basically Cammy in her Killer Bee outfit.
People are allowed to have personal opinions and preferences but you're also complaining about people having personal opinions and preferences. Are the people getting upset not expressing personal opinions or preferences?
Here look
"Every character should look attractive and sexy as possible."
"Not every character needs to look attractive and sexy as possible."
Those are the two sides of an argument both want something specific or both are trying to change something. Both can also take things personally.
