The cramped Gollum position you have to be in to have your hands so close to each other just doesn't work out for me.
Even when you are typing on a PC keyboard for majority of the time you fingers aren't the close to each other. The position of the jump button especially is just atrocious.
This vendor makes completely custom designs, feel free to ask them for more space between hands.
If your on PC you only need the zero-PI board that costs like £25-£30, a box that could be as cheap or expensive as you like, a dozen buttons and a pack of wires.
Pre-made hitboxes seem wayyyyy overpriced imo
Yeah, I've bought a Mayflash F500, and it's fine, but keyboard feels even better than stick for quick and clean execution.
Sort of. It depends on the parts you use, but I still recommend building.
You're still looking at around $200 to make one yourself.
It's "slightly" cheaper than building a fighstick due to the lever cost, but barely.
If you see a hitbox with sanwa/seimitsu parts for around $250-300 and don't want to spend your time on it then it's not a bad deal.
I still recommend doing it yourself if you have time, because you'll learn a lot and can customize it yourself which is actually pretty fun.
