If your opponent is trapping you in a block string (where you're stuck blocking all the time), there's a couple ways out.
1.) Drive Impact can armor through attacks.
2.) Parry gives you a chance to perfect parry and steal their turn.
3.) Light attacks might stuff their offense if they're using slower moves up close. Be careful with this one if they're doing moves that put you at disadvantage.
4.) If you have a move that's start-up invincible like a DP or a Super, you can steal their turn with that.
Now if you block the attack, at the end you are given the chance to act. Timing is strict as you cannot do anything while you're blocking. This isn't a combo, though. This is called pressure.
Sometimes the opponent can perform pressure that will bait you into taking a turn, but they can still go first. This is a frame trap. Try not to press on these, but new players always do. Just takes time to recognize them.
Edit: we all posted so close together. Everybody is right 👍

You can also use perfect parry or Drive Impact but that’s more risky.
Real combos, when you take damage, can’t be interrupted. You may only hope your opponent will drop it.
Drive Parry should work as a combo breaker by default. Ridiculous.
You can go play it single player instead of whining to others across a dozen threads.
Good luck pal
The few exceptions are stuff like Juri's lvl 2 super and Guile's boom loops. Both of which are hard to optimize
Don't gotta do this to yourself
