here's why SF6 still better than MK1 and Tekken 8

just like how SF2 is better than MK and Tekken because core of the game mechanic for all 3 are still the same till this day.

All characters of MK and Tekken games hit and move like robots, and all their normal attack almost look exactly the same for all characters

Are you that insecure about your appreciation of SF6 that you need to make a topic dissing other fighting games after there already have been several on this forum in the past few weeks? Just appreciate the game. And let MK/Tekken fans appreciate their games. I'm a huge Virtua Fighter fan but you don't see me constantly going that it's factually better than Tekken because of these arbitrary reasons I just made up.

I'm a noobie when it comes to fighting games. I've never played a street fighter game, but I've played some Mortal Kombat games. What would you recommend?

I recommend the game that catches your eye, for whatever reason. That hook will help you stick with it.

You clearly haven't been playing enough Tekken then. Tekken8 ♥♥♥♥♥ on SF6. In Tekken Frames are everything, you don't get a free EXDP to ignore them. You can stay on the ground so the Oki game is a lot more complex, and the only moves that look the same in tekken are universal moves (because they looks similar) and they are basically legacy leftover stuff. And the biggest thing that makes Tekken better than SF6. NO PROJECTILE SPAM. Sure we had some projectile characters in Tekken 7 (called 2D characters) but 2/3 of them were guest characters and the last one was made to be like that because she had a projectile in Tekken Revolution. This means there is no boring ass zoners in the game, like Guile and JP which entire gameplan revolves about firing projectiles like its Call of Duty.

This is SF forum. at least I dont go over to other games forum to trash them. I couldnt care less about games I do t play. just post it for fun because so many yappers that seen to prefer other games come here to trash SF6

What they really mean with this new MK going back to it's roots is literally "so yea we made the bouncing players in the air exploit an actual mechanic now" which is fine imo, but they literally copied how awkward it looks in the classic games. MK wasn't really a combo game back then. Combos in the classic games were just abusing exploits.

Pretty much this. I was excited for MK and I assumed it would have been crossplay considering the size of the company and that crossplay is pretty much the norm now. Still think the game looks good but now I'm in no hurry - I'll wait 'til it is old and on sale.

I don't even know why people compare SF and MK with Tekken. Tekken is a 3D fighter, for starters.

Though now you can safely compare it with MK1 due to them ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ad nauseum juggles.
