Can you map quarter circle forward to a key?
I try to do all of the rotation inputs such as dragon punch, QCF, HCF, QCB, HCB but I just cant seem to get it. I like the idea of having the full controls but I dislike having to do those inputs. If I had the option to play classic but to map those inputs to a button, Id chose that. Is that possible?

lol I'm old I admit it but I can't wrap my head around how people can't do these easy motions.

If the dpad is difficult use the left stick.

The question to bind it to a key I have no idea I doubt it

You can't bind motion controls to buttons. Some tips to help.

1.) It doesn't need you to be as fast about it as you may think. The game will cache the input for a bit.

2.) Make sure you're hitting the attack button after completing the motion and not during. You can show inputs in training to help.

3.) For QCF/QCB, Start by putting the stick/your thumb on the first input. From there, slowly roll over in the intended direction until you hit the last input, then press your attack button. Repeat, but go slightly faster. Continue until the move comes out.

4.) For DPs, Start by holding forward, roll your stick/thumb down, then roll it back up again and hit the attack button as you do so. Again, start slow, then gradually speed up until the move comes out.

These things may feel impossible at first, but you'll get there in time. Put on a podcast or something and just spend a couple hours practicing. It's a good idea to get these things down if you ever feel like playing other fighting games.

I've been playing for years and still can't reliably double qcf, so you're not alone. Something about it is extremely unnatural on a fight stick to me.

No, just get good

You'd have to use some kind of macro, but I think that's considered cheating. Not that anyone online would know, but it's poor sportsmanship and you definitely can't play in tournaments like that. It'll be better for you in the long run to just learn how to perform them consistently. Pretty much every fighting game uses quarter circles.

They made modern controls for people like you, use them

eh I have Blankas 3K mapped to the touch pad button. there is no way to trust a trigger pull as HK+1-2 more buttons. I also have HK+HP mapped to R3 in case of facing wifi players.
and I'm not trading parry on a trigger. Buttons exist for use.

mapping out a super move is one thing but I don't see how it would be cheating if the device is not trust worthy and fixes the issue.

Just use modern controls if you can't perform a simple QCF motion

Where did you read what i said and not what you wanted to see.

All you did was skim over, and then replied on the bottom reply..

Imo its easier to just lay them out https://imgur.com/a/663HWE1 and practice just tapping directions u d l r till you get the speed, then adjust to the sweet spot to get QC motions.

play on modern or take a couple hours in training mode and vs bots to figure it out.
