It got better after a few hours but the game is incredible picky/sensible about inputs sometimes when I am shacking my controller/fightstick it inputs a kick aswell. (mostly medium kick)
*Notorious neutral flick before hadoken
I feel it

For some reason this spits out a dp rather than cammy's spiral arrow
you do keep holding 6 (forward) right? just asking
This is normal for every fighting game because of the input buffer. The game remembers your inputs for a while because otherwise it would be too strict and not enjoyable like Street Fighter 1. When you walk forward the game remembers the 6 input and if you do a fireball input right after the game will read it as 6236 and since there is a dragon punch input there it will think you wanted a DP.
This is normal and everyone had to get over this hurdle. Do what Ahriman said: either add a backward input 64236 or stop before you do the quarter circle or just delay the punch/kick button a little. With time you'll develop a feeling for this delay.
forward -> neutral -> down -> down forward -> forward (6,5,2,3,6)
