Seems like it's an impossible task or else no one has empathy among game devs.
- pointless launchers with their own settings and poups and ads separate from game settings
- random forced registrations for stuff like GPU drivers
- forced 2fa spams for literal streaming services that gain nothing from that extra protection
- 1minute unskippable intros for everything
- game UI design where there's useless 1 second delays between every action, and confirmation dialogues defaulting to no for the most mundane stuff that really doesn't need confirmation dialogue
- GDPR popup spam
- average quality websites spamming so many banners, and unblockable trash and ads and scripts that they take up to over 50% of your viewing space, the low quality ones? much much worse
- every random website you will only ever visit once demanding to see your location and to send you notifications for absolutely no reason that anyone can imagine
- forced to view 1 minute youtube ads to check a 5 second video clip. Every single time btw.
- an entire OS (Windows 11) with literally hundreds of completely useless settings, bloatware, spyware, malware, and general popup-based UI designs each of which you need to go handle by hand, many of which can't be fixed
- a million other things with seemingly the sole purpose of wasting your time and your clicks as much as humanly possible, testing the very limits of human patience.
I feel you, I really do. But today's world is further away from any semblance of user friendliness than it's ever been, and each year is only getting worse. The last thing any dev cares about is players being able to skip their useless intros. :<https://www.nexusmods.com/streetfighter6/mods/164
