why is ken so trash?

I can't get more than 2 star gold and lose more than I win with him even tho i use mix ups and ♥♥♥♥

Ken is widely considered as one of, if not the best fighter in the game, i'm pretty sure there is a skill issue here.

Not true at all. A lot of matches I lost were 1mm hp left at enemy side and since i'm playing M Ken my dmg is nerfed.

It really is a Ken and his ♥♥♥♥ damage. When I played M Marisa in casual i lost like 10% of matches, so if you know any M Ken tips pls share. For example most of my losts are from cammy scrubs - they mash jab and have no recovery penalty. I dunno how to beat that

Ken is not trash but I suck with him, because I also don't know what I should be doing with him. In Diamond I went from 65% winning to low 50s..

Probably the spike in his popularity from EVO success means a lot of people have strong match-up knowledge against him. There's an awful lot of Kens out there to practice on.

I recommend watching the replays of your losses and looking for patterns that are costing you exchanges or wins.

Cammy can only utilize her jab if she get's close. She will try to abuse spin knuckle and jump ins and dive kicks to get in. Spin knuckle heavy version is plus on block, so you need to hit her while she is spinning in or jump straight up to avoid it. Or you can try DI but it's risky. The light and medium versions are minus so you can jab her after and she will have to block or get hit. Jump ins and dive kicks can be beaten with anti-air grounded normals, or DP or by jumping and hitting them with an air attack before they are ready.
Try finding a Cammy player around your level to practice with, it will improve your matchup knowledge and just make you more comfortable playing against random online cammy.
The key to getting through the lower leagues is defense and being able to capitalize on mistakes. Players in those leagues generally do things that can be easily punished if you are patient and careful. You just need to practice the right things, don't just mindlessly spam ranked matches, watch your replays, learn to use training mode tools, find practice partners.
