Of course it's easy to reach Plat 1 with prior knowledge of the mechanics due to beta tests, cheating on Capcom's question prior to your ranked journey, inflated flux of newcomers on the first week and only having to win like half of the placement matches.

Hit me up once you actually manage to get out of Plat 1 or climb the ladder straight from the bottom of the barrel in the current state of the game, though.

I just recently hit plat 1 starting at Rookie, because I play fighting games extremely casual and the last one I played was Street Fighter 4.


So i've hit you up, what now? What's your point? I'm nowhere near good, but as long as you have a decent understanding of how to punish and space, you'll make it to plat 1 with ease.

I started from 0 LP and reached diamond having never touched fighting games competitively before. I don't know what your point really is but it just takes perseverance, practice, and patience

Prior to being born, my mother's doctor instructed him to damage my brain in such a way that would ensure I would never achieve baseline proficiency in fighting games, but I was able to win the KumitEVO (the underground EVO side tournament in which failure results in death) with only 10 minutes of messing around in the training room. It's really not that hard broseph. Just stop being bad.

getting master prob isnt 2 hard ranking from placements is based on your current highest ranked character i was only plat 2 cause i stopped bothering (50 pts a match is a joke ) and rashid even after tanking my placements got plat 5 with enough points to be a few games away from diamond

tldr rank means nothing

No matter how you define easy it will be hard for 100% of player to be in top 5%. Hard to change math.

Ranking above diamond is impossible and the skill difference every tier post Platinum is palpable.

I think the bigger problem is it takes winning 60 matches or something to go up one rank in a league. Its too big of a grind not even worth it. Bring back win streaks or something to help it go quicker.
Getting placed in a low league is bad more for how long the grind takes more then anything

I don't think Plat 1 is that hard to achieve even without prior game knowledge. Those who played the beta probably got placed higher, unless they got completely cucked on their placements.

I have played SF before however on a very low tier casual level. After I got the game, in a few days time from Rookie, I got to Plat 1 (with Chun-Li and she is one of the hardest characters to play, supposedly). Win streak bonus also help you out a lot.

Master would be easy for those who got good results on their placements. If you got placed in Diamond 4/5 and you are good enough of a player to push through those last points to Master, then I'd say its easy.

If you place at the bottom of the barrel, like me, then Master will not be as easy since no more win streaks from Plat and above, people now know how to play (most of them anyway) and sometimes you just lose by dumb luck.

Bruh, I climbed from Bronze 4 to Plat1 in just under 3 hours after a 12 year break from Street Fighter games off of just muscle memory and basics alone, didn't even really understand SF6 itself all that much.

Went to casuals for a bit to actually learn the game and am now at Diamond 3 after another 10 or so hours in ranked.

Ranked really is easy in this game. It's no wonder everyone is saying that it feels easy to get max rank in this game.
