Ranked is Broken

You know SF6 ranking system is broken when LTG and DSP are Diamond.

I'm a noob and I couldn't get into Diamond after placement matches. So the bottom line is that the system is working. It's likely not perfect or well-tuned, but it is working.

Nah they may be lolcows but they're stronger than you thought. LTG was diamond in part 5 too.
They're just not greater than that.

If anything this is proof yall can improve to this skill level. If DSP can do it why couldn't you? Just take your time and you'll get up there too.

DSP and LTG have always been decent at fighting games, not pros or anything but they can play the game. They're just very tiltable players that seemingly have no desire to fix or even acknowledge their flaws

DSP is a scrub, he doesn't even know how the game works. He thinks moves have priority when that system doesn't exist in the game. He can't do inputs, he doesn't go in training mode while queued. He doesn't understand frame data, he doesn't have solid pressure or oki. Master players can beat him with just jab because his gameplan is so loose. I'd say he's still a beginner

LTG thought that if you hold back it would auto block lows. No lie. These people are dumb as hell.

He legit got mad and explained that in SF5 if you start blocking back and then the opponent goes low that it will auto block the low. He then gave it a name and within minutes had his followers parroting how right he is.

He honestly believes they changed the blocking systems and unless he suddenly got WAY better at acting then it wasnt a ruse.

I have seen him act, it is never believable.

If you can kept your winrate at slightly sub 50% you will reach master eventually

LTG was diamond in SF5 too. I can see him reaching master rank in this game though since you don't need to even have a positive winrate. if he bangs his head against the wall long enough he'll get there eventually which was impossible in SF5.

Ranks don’t mean much until plat1 but from Platinum2 it works well in my opinion.
