zangief noob

never played zangief before in my life, i went straight into a match last night and started beating plats with him, i was trying to figure out what its like as i hear peole are struggling with him. i wasnt having to much issue. maybe its harder to win twith him at lvels higher than plat? or did i just get lucky. since i didnt have a direct gameplan since im new with him maybe i was just throwing people off gaurd with my randomness.
anyway im going to try him again tonight after work, if theres any bread and butter combos u guys would like to share please do.
my main is blanka and guile also, never really played grabblers before. but i def like how u hgave to think completly different when playing him, maybe itll make me get better at the game.

beating plats doesnt matter rank means next to nothing i just did my placements on rashid and lost on purpose and i landed on plat 5

He falls off a cliff when you get to mid diamond and nearer Master. Very frustrating to play at higher levels.

His bng is lk, lp, DR, lp, lp, lariat. Very good. recoomend/10. You can replace some lps with mps. If you feel like it.

Just watch some videos of Itazan or Snekeyez (who owns the game). You will lern from him many things.

600 hours and still platinum. I have 23 hours in ranking and platium. So you should have been much higher, why are you not master?

There is a huge, massive gap between Plat1 and Plat3. Each star after Plat3 means substantial difficulty jump.

Plat1 is filled with people pushed out of Gold level due to ranking system. The real SF starts from Diamonds in my opinion.

Yeah, if you're not in diamond you can't use your character as an excuse, especially since Zangief is extremely powerful in lower ranks.

im not even sure about that cuz i beat diomands regualy and im not even that good. so i think its 100 percent true ranking means absolutely nothing in this game. they are way to generous with the ranking lp points
