If you plan on buying... DON'T!

First, the tactical command in the game doesn't work unless you edit a certain line within a XML document. Otherwise, GOODLUCK!

Second, there are some missions where you MIGHT have to reload/continue where you left off (you had to leave for work, or one of your soldiers were retarded) and it will cause issues in your gaming performance. By this I mean, once you reload (certain missions/checkpoints) you can't aim, can't reload, nor can you fire! That's f'ing lovely, don't you think? So, you'll have to REDO the entire mission over in order to properly play this game.

Third, your AI squad mates are total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'd rather go solo on this game based on what the AI is UNCAPABLE of doing. You seriously have to order a soldier 5 times in order for his ass to move around a corner at times. They are really here for being a decoy/meat shield for you to actually do all the dirty work. They are dumb as hell when it comes to anything else. They will WALK BACKWARDS INTO AN EMEMY AND DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Forth, it's made by the utter ♥♥♥♥ company knows as UCKYSOFT (UBISOFT). They are nothing but a greedy, backstabbing pile of ♥♥♥♥ company. They should be paying US to play their garbage. Can we say UBI DRM? Who does that on half-ass games such as this?

If someone told me to download all sorts of mods to play this game, well the hell with it. I shouldn't have to download anything in order to play a stock game. I felt like I got robbed by purchasing this trash. I merely am placing a warning for anyone who thinks about purchasing this. Oh, and if you're curious as to how far I got. Mission 3 - Mission 2 I had all these wonderful gun-related issues (no fire, no aim, etc.).

Then again, I've seen more complaints about this game on this community hub than good compliments.

I don't agree with you. I think this game has good ai, but it is a coop game it is meant for 4 players. I think you are overreacting

I watched for 5 minutes while one of my team members was walking into a wall when I asked him to go on the other side of the building. I'm sorry, but that's bad AI. GRAW 2 is a whole lot better and have been enjoying it more than GRAW 1. So, whatever the issues were in GRAW 1 is no longer in GRAW 2 (Woot!).

Even if the game is meant for co-op, bad way to present that has a single player campaign, right? I know hardly anyone plays the game and I wanted to get the story down before going to GRAW 2 and the 3rd edition.

I played the console version, that plays as smooth as anything, It's just a realy bad port, if you have a xbox original, it plays on that as well as a 360 and PS3

Glitch after GLITCH. WHY does Steam offer games with known issues? First, in 'Ready For Bear' level 6, I couldn't continue level until I lucked into a fix. NOW in norad...something,...I lost my cross com commands on center mouse button. My rifle scope kept changing to a blacked out view of where my traget used to be- this has happenned periodically throughout this forking headache of a game. After verifying files, the croos com quit functioning from the center mouse button, and the fix is changing more forking CODE ! REALLY STEAM??

I couldn't defragment files, and verifying them has me stuck again.
Screw this ! I'll go back now and finish GRAW2 and delete them !

Anyway glad I read the forums first, it's saved me wasting money on a bad port.
When will developers/publishers realise that a bad port will equal bad sales.

PC - Steam version- But the history is frought with glitches. There are fixes, and then you run into the next. The Team commands in the com menu suddenly re-appeared for me on the LAST level, so I just flushed it, and went BACK to Ghost Recon 2 which hasn't shown aNY problems so far.
The thing that really sticks in my craw is that Steam would offer another virtually unsupported game, which merely strengthens Steams legacy of NO FRICKIN' HELP.

I remember buying this game on launch day. No regrets, this is one of the more fun Clancy games, just wish you a-holes would get online so I could shoot something. MP is really fun, as is coop. I created a group for GRAW so join up and invite all your friends. Let's alteast revive the MP community. I remember playing in the larger TDM servers, so much fun.

I have all of the Ghost Recons up to GRAW2. I got GRAW2 on sale, and started it. I liked it so much, I decided to get 1 and cme back to GRAW2, but kept getting stuck as the game glitches began inroducing themselves to me. A couple of fixes got me up to the last mission, and then no fixes could allow me to finish the very last level. I went back and competed GRAW2.
