Every now and then you take a chance on a no name game from a company you've never heard of...
Absolutely love this game.
I played a lot of the Close Combat series many years ago and always loved it, but never found another series with a similar feel until now. I love the amount of variety of units, the mechanics (after a little getting used to the line of sight), the missions and objectives, and the game play. It is random enough that you will still get surprised and walk into an ambush from time to time, but it keeps things interesting. There is no magical unit or formation that does it all ( at least in my experience so far ). This games does a great job showcasing strengths and weaknesses of units and makes you use different force compositions.

A few things I would change:
Visuals: Open hatches versus closed hatches. There is an icon/indicator for this, but a change in the unit (actually showing a hatch open) would go a long way I think.
Gameplay: I think an overlay for the line of sight while moving (able to be toggled) would be very helpful. With it enabled, hitting advance and then mousing over a hex would show that hex's line of sight, then moving around to decide your movement. It would just save a little time with each move and would keep things going smoothly.

Honestly thats it. It's great. Obviously more content, I'd love to see Africa or the Eastern front somewhere down the road, but it's truly a great game as is. Looking forward to seeing what this company does next.
