yes i think its because of the engine change so the previous patches are no longer relevant. Hopefully they bring out a fix soon.
None as of yet sorry. Will post in this thread if i figure something out.
If you don't have a backup file save of the old version before Steam updates, to roll back, you have to download the specific manifest like this ->
Open the Run dialog (Windows Key + R).
Type steam://open/console and press Enter. This will open the Steam client with the console enabled.
download_depot <AppID> <DepotID> <ManifestID>
Steam Console Access - Depot Download (Advanced)
This is a more complex approach if the exact manifest ID of the version you want is known:
Go to SteamDB (https://steamdb.info/) and search for "Manor Lords."
Find the AppID, DepotID, and ManifestID corresponding to the version you need.
Follow the instructions to download using the Steam console as outlined above.
Keep in mind that downloading older game versions may require using offline mode or preventing updates manually since Steam tends to keep games updated. Note also that some games may prevent older versions from working properly if they require connection to updated servers.
In my case to be stable and same version as my save games...
download_depot 1363080 1363081 8897475131777158496
Downloading depot 1363081 (5419 MB) ...
Depot download complete : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1363080\depot_1363081" (92 files, manifest 8897475131777158496)
You then delete the content of the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manor Lords folder and replace with the contents you downloaded which is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1363080\depot_1363081
It's a early release game I really want to see do well so I support the dev with my $$$ however, I also want to play the working functionality which for me means rolling back... If I cant start the game without crashing to desktop its uninstall and move on... not my intent so... Good luck to you!
Delete the Saved folder. Lose your stuff but the game should start
