Region / pack station system is frustrating
I like that..
1) Region wealth is tied to the region
2) To transport goods between regions you need a pack station and a mule in both regions

What's frustrating is...
1) I'm unable to put my personal treasury funds into the region wealth
2) I'm unable to just send goods freely to another region (forced to trade with myself)

I wish that you can only claim regions that you are bordering and once you successfully took a region you now hold a larger region with 2 towns and the borders go away / are faint.

As it currently is, starting a new region is basically like starting a new game.
Anyone know if there are plans to change that?

Yup, i had over 15k personal wealh. Useless. There's nothing you could buy with it. But maybe in a later game phase, it will serve.

besides buying a bunch of mercenaries to crush the baron... pretty useless yeah

kinda agree as lord of the region i should be able to leverage my personal wealth if i feel like my useless subjects need it. (buy food or hire workers etc etc)

It is strange that you own everything but need to barter with yourself...
pretty dumb system.

Just let us send a cart whenever.

I have it set up that region A produces bows, sends those over to region B and thakes back whatever they need from there and region B will sell the Bows to get some wealth.

You own the land, not the goods.

Taking from one village to send to another is like a landlord taking a tenant's television and giving it to another tenant.

He should make it possible, though; just with a hefty satisfaction penalty.

yep requiring a barter is total garbage. anno has a way better trade system as ive mentioned already

so why can you just use regional wealth

makes no sense

you also cant seem to set a limit on when to stop barter goods so you have to micromanage it. annoying

I don't mind regions needing to trade with one another...after all, they are separate towns and separate peoples. HOWEVER, having a dedicated building for intra-region trading is DUMB, it should just be part of the trade hub that features an additional dropdown for trading within your own provinces or importing from afar.

I hate having to staff an entirely separate building when workers are so valuable as it is. Not to mention that the supply swapping is pretty inefficient even with mules.

You can tax the regional wealth, and/or you can use it to build or buy things in the region that generated it. You can't use it outside of the region.

A limit or a specified reserve to keep for the sender would be nice.

If I set up the entire system that let them produce the goods, how am I not also the owner of the goods. Or the placement stuff implying the peasants did all that work on MY land and eventually I could tax them for it if I wished but not take their produce?

Should definitely let you have taxes paid in goods, if desired.

Or seize goods with a satisfaction penalty.

I'm looking forward to when the bigger bundles and different starting options are opened up

I love this analogy lol

its kinda nice starting somewhere small again while your bigger places are getting things done

I just wish you could set a quantity.

Like "I give you 10 roof tiles and you give me the equivalent in iron slabs" As of right now things just arbitrarily dissapear and theres not a record of what happens.

Also livestock should be a trading option.

And maybe is just me, but you should be able to draft other townspeople without the need to transport the equipment around
