Manor Lords does not recognize 6800X
Hello everyone, I recently downloaded Manor Lords and noticed that during the game it did not exceed 20 fps. I monitored through Adrenaline that the graphics card is not "rendering" the game. It seems like it's the processor that does the work. In short, it's as if the graphics card is ignored.

The CPU temperature sometimes reaches 70º, but that is not the problem. When using the GPU you would notice that it only has 84W and is only using 37%

I noticed that the game was not recognized on AMD Adrenaline either. I tried to add the game directly to Adrenaline, in the game library, and I received the message:

"You do not have permission to open the file.

Please contact the file owner or administrator for permission."

Does anyone have any idea what this problem could be? This only happens in this game.

Sorry for the English, I'm using Google Translate

I have the same CPU+GPU combo on the same driver version and have never had an issue with the RX 6800 XT. Are you running the GPU without any custom settings (default settings) in Adrenalin? Have you tried a clean reinstall of the GPU driver? If the game launches and the GPU goes to 84 W that implies its actually doing something unless you are running some other program that uses GPU resources.

Greetings,

For adrenaline, Try running Adrenalin Software as administrator.

Also,
How to run games on GPU instead of CPU AMD?

The steps below explain how to access the GPU Workload option.
Open the AMD Radeon Settings application. ...
Click on the Gaming menu option.
Click on Global Settings.
On the Global Graphics tab, click on GPU Workload. ...
Select the desired GPU Workload.
Click Yes to restart AMD Radeon Settings for the change to take effect.

I do not have an AMD but that does sound like a driver issue doesn't it?

You can check for conflicts and sharing.

IRQ 16 is usually what most motherboard bios' on intel use, and shared with the GPU and on-board graphics thing is to look for a conflict there - I do not remember on AMD platform but likely is the same.

The configuration I have is a profile that creates some modifications such as ventilation and increased performance. All the games I have work normally. It is also not possible to use other software that could harm the card

Ok, I hadn't thought about that possibility, but I think it's strange because other games work normally. But I'll take a look

Hi, I didn't find the GPU WORKLOAD option.
I googled it and this option was removed from amd adrenaline.
I will leave a link that shows how the GPU is used compared to the CPU.

What I noticed in some research was that some games downloaded through GamePass are not "recognized" in the adrenaline library. For those who use it, you know that in this area you can add the game manually when the software does not add it automatically, however, when trying to add it every year, I receive a message from Windows
""You do not have permission to open the file.

Please contact the file owner or administrator for permission."

I have other gamepass games too but they work normally. Only with Manor Lords does this happen

I tried in the bios but the onboard video option is only AUTO or DISABLE and as the 5800x does not have integrated graphics, I don't think the problem would be there. but thanks for the information

Yes, I use this slot.
I also created the shortcut as you mentioned but even so, the board uses almost nothing. Nor do temperatures increase.

this is the information received by Gemini from google:

Unfortunately, you cannot manually add games downloaded through Game Pass to your AMD Adrenaline library. This is because Game Pass games are encrypted and protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management) to prevent piracy and illegal distribution. AMD Adrenaline does not have the necessary permissions to access and manage these encrypted files.

Honestly, I have no other option to resolve this situation. But thank you all for your attention
