Plowing oxen
I have nagged about this in the past, and will do so again now.
I like to build max farms. 1 farm has 8 farmers, 2 oxen, 24 0.6m fields on a 3 year rotation and an assinged work area.
If everybody does what I assinged them to do, this works flawless most of the time.
But now, some unassinged rando comes along, takes one of the oxen assinged to the farm (I just saw those darn peasants take both oxen, hench this post), and starts plowing the fields when it's still harvesting season, the wheat isn't in yet and its starting to rain. Not only that, that field will be fallow next year, so this worker and oxen are being completely useless.

The problem is, the oxen does not contribute its 50 carry capacity to bringing in the harvest, the farmwork falls behind and that can lead to 1 or 2 fields that are unfinished come December.

Not withstanding that I admire the enthousiasm, this is a bid frustrating. If this unassinged worker got an unassinged oxen, great. If he helps bring in the harvest, even better. (Tho I would prefer him building stuff and just not bothering)
But please don't take the oxen I specifically assinged to the farm. He has other, more important tasks to do.

Better yet, just scrap this whole system and save on memory space.
When a farm is properly managed, this situation is a complete waste of recources and costing me crowns.

That's too bad. My farming works great --

8 fields, 2 farmhouses, 4 farmers, 4 oxen -- 4 fields harvested by mid- Sep., 4 fields plowed and sown by end of Oct.

The oxen did plow under the harvested fields when harvest was done in the middle of September, but no harm done because they were going to be fallow in October anyway.

Let's see a picture of yours.
