48% Approval
I have water, food, a church, extra housing, etc... My approval is still stuck at 48% (-2 from the beginning homelessness) Am I missing something? Bugged?

You need 50% to start getting more population, so I am kinda stuck rn


EDIT: UPDATE - Started another world, same issue. It gets stuck at 48% with the only modifier being "-2 homelessness" even though I have enough homes

Let them eat cake didn't work in real life and ended up with heads rolling. Same goes for this game. Even measley peasants deserve some variety in what they eat.

I restarted my entire game, and reloaded into the world and it shot up to 60%, I think I was bugged, I changed nothing with the world at all.

What I've noticed is that the market can only hold up to X goods, where X is the number of fully constructed houses you have. However, the goods will be allocated toward incomplete houses if they're under construction. Once you finish construction, the cap of goods for your stalls will go up. The market seems to prioritize proximity, so expanding away from your markets should help approval stay up.

When you provide everything people need, the negative effects **slowly** wear off, not immediately. Give it time, if you've provided homes, the -2 homelessness will go away.

I had waited about 6 in game months with no change until I restarted everything.

Yeah same issue, stock at -2 homelessness, after a restart it didn't go away, I will check back tomorrow to see if anyone found a fix

I have more than enough room for all the families and still have the -6 approval malus from homelessness since like 5 ingame months. Not even a church helped to raise approval over 44%.

I'm having the same issue.

8 months in game, i have 2 different food, and -3 debuff from homeless still here. I'm stuck at 48%.
